Crush is on the run...

I know what your going through :-(, I've had my 7month old cream bail out on me last month. He'll eventually come out and start looking for food. 2 weeks later, I was surprised to find him downstairs slithering, in the kitchen floor. Most likely he smelled the chicken the other day and figured his way downstairs. Don't give up, they can go VERY long without food.

Check the laundry! I have found 2 of our runaways in the dirty clothes before.

That is exactly why my mother told us we could not have pet snakes as kids! I remember quite clearly her saying "You can't have one of those things because I don't want to find it in the laundry basket!"

Still hope your little guy turns up safe and sound soon!

Aw, I hate to hear you have one on the lam! Check any holes in items in the room. I found an escapee inside a stereo speaker. I dunno why that was appealing, but that's where we found him.

You mentioned more heat sources. Have you thought about using ziplock bags or even tupperware-type containers with hot water in them?

I hope you find him soon.

Josh don't panick! My amel escaped twice he was a moron and went behind the computer twice. Look in warm places and high and low. I use the method look for a wekk then stop looking and disturbing the animal and he will come out when you least expect it

im sorry to hear your little guy is on the run, i have a avery a corn that got out at 4 months old, i thought i was never going to find him becasue i had floorboards up too. I put down a standard heating pad with a burlap sack on top of it that was moistened with a hide and a pinky on it. i cranked the heat down in my house and went to be. The next morning there he was in his hide, pinky gone just like another normal day for him.
