Katie, surely you must remember the really rowdy table! Maegann was the one dancing on the table!

Oh Gosh! I can't forget the pagan rats! All I can figure is that some really warped person has way too much free time. But I'm also glad that he chose rodents and not humans!

Wow great shots everyone...seeing these pictures from daytona are my favorite time of year on this board. thank you all.

Oh yes Susan! Mortal Komrat as it was titled. Somewhat disturbing yet wickedly cool at the same time. Great job getting shots of it!!

Lisa got exactly what...

she wanted. Look at this little booger. I was looking more for supplies and a Pine snake. Pines were a bit pricey this go around. But I did get the Prairie King. Here he is in his deli cup since he is a fiesty little guy and it is the only way I can get him to hold still. Check out the pattern on the tail.

He sure is a little cutie! Joe has been looking at turtles some lately too so I don't doubt eventually we will end up with one too!

And that snake does look nice! Would love to see more pics as he gets bigger!

I'm not big into turtles...

but this is my fav. The Ornate Wood Turtle. I had one for 17 years before she passed. Lisa got me this girl for Christmas. They make a good first turtle.

Here's a shot of the $100,000 snake...Albino Green Tree Python. 1 of 3 known to be alive.

I had a really nice red foot for about ten years, until my un-named friend/roomate (cough,Katie, cough) dog killed him.... sniff... But a Leopard or Star would make a nice replacement....

OK...I guess no one will get yelled at for posting non-corn pics in this particular thread. I took some pics of a few snakes that caught my eye. I know what a couple of them are, but not all. I wouldn't buy any of these, just liked them. The ones I REALLY liked, I didn't take pics of. I would have probably ended up buying one then.

She wants a Star next. I like the Radiated. I really like native Florida stuff the best. I guess cause when I was young we had to go out and catch everything. Last year we came across three Box Turtles and didn't keep one. Now I want one, we can't find hide nor "shell."

Hey now...I wasn't the one that left the door open so the dog could get in there. That would be the other roommate (who happens to be Joe's brother) who moved.

I neglected to add a photo of Joe for everyone. I see his mug every day so it didn't cross my mind to post his photo here too...
So here he is for your viewing pleasure!!

Cool pictures everyone. Our little reptile show is coming up soon and I am hoping to meet up with some folks there as well... though haven't seen many takers yet.

I find it kind of funny that when I look at some of these snake pics, the only reason I know how small they are is because of the things in the background. The one of the GTP's that Susan took is particularly amusing- I focused on the snakes and was thinking "Wow, I have never seen a GTP in a position other than curled on a log." And then I noticed the gatorade bottle in the background and realized these are relatively small hatchlings.

Anyhow- looks like folks had a good time. Almost makes me wish I lived in Florida....

Nah. :grin01:

Lol, you should really try to quote Pee Wee a little less, wasn't it just last night you used, "Excuse me officer, can I at least zip up first?" :grin01:

Man, you better go next year, and we'll drag Mike along too. It's hard to believe, but it would have been ten times more fun running around the show with you two...
