whoa...missed all the drama. Dang...I always miss the good stuff. But here is my quick two cents...
I am a lesbian.
I love my cornsnake *s* and other snakes
I think if it's in general topic we should be able to talk about anything that is talked about on prime time t.v.
That includes...politics, sexuality, bad jokes, anything PG.
homosexuality is not porn. It's a part of many people's daily lives. Including mine.
I wouldn't mind my kids reading about straight people. They need to learn one day. After all...they might even turn out to be straight themselves and that is nothing to be ashamed of. I know a few straight people and they are just as nice as can be.
We talk about things besides cornsnakes because we become friends in a site like this. We begin to know each other and want to know more about one another. That is what this is all about.
So talk. If you are offended, don't open the thread.
If your child is reading this and you don't approve...then stop letting them onto the internet without you.
And everyone hug..and play nice.

I was away for a few days on (holiday) LOL!

and missed the homosexuality thing, but I really want to know what happend, because I myself hold some pretty STRONG points in that subject, as I'm sure some people are aware

I could give you my take on it George. Some people stated that talking about alternative lifestyle would lead to the site being blocked by parents who would be offended and not want their children to read about it. This has caused a bit of discussion/argument, which will probably change some members' views of each other and the site. That's just my summary, you'll really have to read the whole thing and make your own mind up.

Do you remember our 'raccoon' disagreement. I was shocked, you explained, and I thought about what Ireally would do in the same position? I felt I got insight into a different world, which is one of the reasons I love general chit-chat.

LOL, maybe if people was less judgmental on homosexuals, there would be less teens hurting themselves, and killing themselves, and being depressed, do the parents who block sites because they dont want there children on them, ever stop and ask themselves, maybe my children are gay but I'm soo narrow minded I wouldn't know..

But aren't those the same people who would object to their children visiting a site that advocates the keeping of snakes as pets? :dancer: I, like George, have been away from my computer for a bit....probably a good thing in this instance.
