distended mold spot on egg

congrats on little leaky! Like nanci suggested..dont rush him/her. Theres always the possibilty of developmental issues...heres to a healthy leaky pippy.

Well here they are. Leaky is forefront in the picture. Not rushing anybody, I just connected the slits already there. Just wanted to make sure he could breathe. :) It's funny how one of babies is poking up between the 3 eggs stacked on top of it. I wondered how that was gonna work.

Any out yet?
Yup! 2 out and about this morning. Both beautiful little R/O's that will look just like their mother! I'm not sure, but one little guy looks quite pale. I could only see part of his head, but I think it's a snow. Which means momma would be het Anery! Gotta love the het trait lottery

Yeah for babies! Congratulations. It's great for encouragement as I wait for my less than perfect eggs to hopefully hatch. So glad that a band-aid did the trick! :)

Well Good Luck! :)

Without any further ado, Leaky!

I noticed 2 spots on his "eyebrows" before he emerged completely so I know its him. Little bigger would not sit still for photos so these are the best 2 from about 2 dozen :) What a beautiful little R/O!

I had an egg hatch a few days ago. The egg leaked a long time ago, which went moldy (the leaky bit). Then I touched the egg a few days after and a load more goo came out.
The snakes hatched on its own a few days after the others, and quite alot smaller. Seems fine though, it was alot worse than yours seems in the pictures, so I reckon you will be ok in the end. the egg itself looks great.

Yeah for Leaky!! So glad he is out and they are all so cute too!

Just a note: I got a pippy today! Day 78 on an egg I didn't even count as fertile!

Just digging up this oldie again, because I did a search (got a bit of mold on a clutch due to hatch soon :() and I couldn't get over the bandaid, it is too adorable. Did you keep Leaky?

Nope, Leaky found a nice home with one of my neighbors. I should check in on them :)

Never give up on an egg until you are sure it is gone! :)
