Dogs vs. Cats

Wanna pet my Snake?
Hi everyone.. So my dogs are German Short Hair Pointers..

And.. They like to hunt our barn cats...

Only problem they run into is we have an invisible fence.. So they can't actually get the cats.. The cats know this and just run behind the line if the dogs go after them. LOL..

This all was going on while I was takign pics of some snakes. Lol

Very nice ;) Now why did you have one dogs tail docked and not the other?

Well, they were both rescues, Bumper, the one with a docked tail was found on the side of the road eating road kill. Muffy, the girl with the tail. I don't remember her story. But, either she was born a stray or no docked her tail..

Lol, silly puppies. I am a fan on GSPs also

Lol.. I know we get a kick out of it.. Daily.. This happens everyday.

I love the shot of the cat in the first pic - it is almost like he is saying "na na na na - you can't get me". LOL!

Aww! That's awesome! WooHoo, kitties! We have a couple of barn cats that live in and out of our warehouse. One only has 3 legs but can run like the wind and the other makes sure to bring us daily supplies of dead mice and birds. My side acre is constantly covered in feathers. When our dogs are outside they are on long runs and the cats have figured out how close they can get to them. They'll just sit there right outside of the dogs' reach while the dogs practically choke themselves trying to get them. Funny thing is, they have no problems with our inside cats.

Awwww cute pictures.

I love GSPs, but boy are they hyper! I walked one over the summer for several weeks while his owners were at work. He was a 9-month old show dog (not neutered), and had an amazing amount of energy! He LOVED looking for birds and chasing any little critter. Wonderful dog, but a breed I think people should think hard about before owning. Here's a picture of the little bugger I miss!

Lol.. Yea.. They have plenty of energy.. It's bad in the winter cuz we don't want to go outside to play with them.. In the summer though its good. They are always outside.. When I get home I'll play with thme or go get the four wheeler.. Which they love chasing and run them around the yard twice to 3 times.. They'll be spent for a good 5 hours after that. Lol

Hey Trent, great dogs and your barn cat is a riot. Ongoing entertainment is a good thing to have.
Hey does your family own horses? Looks like you have a great place.

hey tim! we used to have horses. or a horse. then our neighbor had a horse and we combined our fences.. my mom didnt have the time she used to with my brothers and i.. so she gave her to a friend. i think she (dundee) actually passed away a year ago.
