Well, it was feeding time here and Michael was the next to last one to be fed. I got him out, played with him for a few, weighed him and then went to feed him. Realized that I hadn't pulled his hopper out yet and without thinking about it, with him wrapped around my wrist pulled his feast out of the baggie.....

He was quite polite and took it matter of factly from me...

Slight problem... I have small wrists and no where to rest the mouse to get it in the proper position for it to go down the hatchet.... Of course, he didn't want to let go of his precious treasure, nor did he want to let go of my wrist... but finally convinced him to let it go and the second try was much better :)

He's such a sweetheart :)

I had that happen once. Mine never let go of either. But I was able to rest her head in her feeding bin to let her eat.

BTW, I love the yellow on your snake!

Oh, I love this boy! He is so bronzy and beautiful! He looks so much like my Syko.....

Michael thanks everyone for admiring his handsomeness :) He is gorgeous and I'm thrilled that I was given the opportunity to add him to my collection. I love all my snakes, but he is definitely a step above the rest.

It was just really cool the way he reached over to take the mouse from me. It was like.... let me hold that for you... then the confusion about where to put it so he could actually eat it... funny guy :)

Thanks Rich :) I'm not big on yellow at all, but Michael's yellow is actually more subtle in person that it looks in these pictures... probably due to the spotlight type lamp that I was using for additional lighting :)

Bless! Cute story :)

He's a real sweetheart... He's the one that always pops his head out and will come out when I stop by his cage and talk to him. You would swear that he could hear you.
And they say snakes don't have personalities. Lucky for you yours has a great one!

My boy - well I guess he's more of a middle aged man now, being 8 - is somewhat more reclusive as he's gotten older, but he's still the same numpty he always was :D

LOL Those I hang out with get a glazed look in their eyes when I get off on one of my favorite subjects - my snakey pets. They look at me strangely as I describe how each of them have such a different personality. I don't think I've changed any minds, but they seem to be sucked into the subject anyway. The guys tend to be fascinated by the thought that I own snakes. :)

Heh, yeah I had that back when I was in school. Guys with no snake knowledge are funny :)

"You do realise you've just bought a pet that could kill you?"

Well no, he can't really :/ silly boys!

Thank you, I actually don't like yellow snakes, but my anery mot has a lot of bright yellow which rather disappointed me, but Michael's is more speckled and that actually makes him look very fascinating :)

And I didn't mind at all :)
