Dusk? Early Morning?

When do your corns start to be active? Mine don't seem to come out untill around midnight or later! Could this be becuase they are young < a year, or is this completely normal? I've read numerous places saying they are active at dusk and early morning... so what times do yours come out and about? 5pm? 7pm? 9pm? Just curious...

Mine are always out at night! Every once and a while, like yesterday, my three year old will be out moving around a little all day, but on a hole they always come out after sundown and are still out when I go to sleep!

Most of mine come out at night but afew come out during the day. I have a yearling male that has recently taken to running perimeter laps all day. I guess it is spring......:D

Mine tend to get active at all times of the day and night. At any given time, some will be out and moving and others in their hides. Things are a little different now that they are days from breeding. The males seem to even rest outside of thier hides, which they usually never do. But it's warmer outside and the cages are warmer- to the point the thermostat is usually off.

My yearlings (well, year & a half now) usually show up in the early evening and tend to be active well into the night. My big girl is about the same, although she appears and disappears slightly later.

Since their enclosures are in my living room, and I'm an "up 'til 2am" kind of gal, I sometimes wonder if I've warped their sense of time. Lately I've been trying to cover the tanks around 10 or 11pm, but I so love to watch them roam around!

I had understood that corns were more active at dusk (I forget the scientific term for that), but I guess I'm not the only one with up-late snakes!
