Nice hog. Not really considered dwarves though. More like a naturally occuring hypo BCI. Hogs are smaller than most BCI species but not what I would consider a dwarf species.

Now this is a dwarf BCI.
She is 2 years old. :grin01:

Love little hogg isle.. I would be inclined to say the blue fields are an extreme dwarf boa :p

And that hoggs ARE considered a dwarf (and naturally occuring hypo) locality BCI species. I have never seen a female get more than 6ft... yet you hear of 10ft common boas quite often.

I love him...he's adorable...would love to have one if i didn't already have my dumeril's.
How big is he?

True. I just picture dwarf boas as ones that max at about 3 feet versus about 5-6 like a hog would.

Hogs are one of my favorite BCI's though. The coloring on them is incredible with the blues, pinks, oranges.

Definitely beautiful animals and Pharoah is a nice looking one (even with the bad pics :crazy02: ).

OK. So what does distinquish a "dwarf"? I'd love to have a boa, but don't want a HUGE snake... Can someone tell me what the "dwarf's" are?

I would consider a BCI that maxes out at 6ft a true dwarf...

Thanks all for the comments, the Pharaoh appreciates it.

Awesome Boa! Yeahh, I agree with Tula... Heehee I know hes gonna get bigger, but I wanted a nice big but not huge Boa! :crazy02:

Um, I'm fairly new to Boas but usually Island Boas are the Dwarfed ones because they developed on a smaller environment. I think.. :shrugs: I know Corn Island Boas a really small :) Hogs are bigger yet really small.. If that makes sence. Plus I loove the lighter non-red look they have

Yes! You can't see his pinks... He has alot of white and pink on him with a burnt orange/chocolate tail And an almost purplish underside!

Thank you! :crazy02:

He is about the length of my arm.. so.. almost three feet, maybe longer? I don't think he is a baby baby.. but I am having trouble contacting the person where I bought him from. =/
