Emerald City Reptile Expo March 5 & 6

Probably for brunch, about 11:30. Let me know & I'll keep you posted.

We hope to arrive at the expo between 9 and 10 am, so 11:30 would work for us--we could do a quick cruise through, have lunch, and then head back to the expo.

Not really looking for any snakes (like, yeah, right, eh? *grins*), but I will be looking at supplies and accessories.

And, of course, if anyone has a kick-a$$ gorgeous Miami up for sale or an adult female Abbott's Okeetee friend for poor Fiesta, who is desperate for a mate right now, I MIGHT be persuaded to change my mind :).

So you're saying that if I brought one of my available Miami males you might buy one? ;)

That was torture. D; I've been looking into getting a ball python for awhile now and DEAR LORD THE TEMPTATION. Sellers are cruel, cruel beasts when it comes to cutting you deals. Took the boyfriend and boyfriend's mother to talk me out of it (Really don't have the space right now).

Mentally worn out, sad all I got was dead mice. );

Surprisingly, I didn't get any. I was too busy drooling and looking around :). The only animal I bought at the actual expo is a sweeeeeeeeeeet little Hogg Island Boa girl. I'll show her off in another thread :).

However, that doesn't mean I only came home with 1 new animal. I also came home with some real beauties from Heather, and some from Kathy, including a drop-dead-gorgeous pair of Okeetees. I also met a friend of Heather's who posts here, and got a beautiful little coral snow boy from him (Matt, I need your email addy so I can pay you for him :). We got home late-ish, and spent the rest of the evening setting up habitats, and we went to the beach today, so I STILL don't have pix of anything except the Hogg Island girl, who I have named "Lady".

The very best part of the whole day, for Z and I, at least, was getting to meet some more PacNW cc.com herpers! We had a fantastic lunch with Heather, as well as Tara and her family, and later, we spent a good, long time having the most FUN meet-up with Kathy (dionythicus) in a mall parking lot :). I truly feel as if I came home making even more friends from the area--and I'd already met a few at previous events. Z and I decided that, in general, reptile enthusiasts are MUCH friendly and more fun than most parrot enthusiasts we've met on various parrot forums over the last half dozen years.

Thanks to everyone for making our day fantastic!

Oh, and Jen--we've got your little anery here, so we need to figure out a time and place to meet so we can get it to you :). No rush. Just whenever and wherever works for all involved.
