Eros Crimson progression thread

Was able to get some photos of Eros and the rest of the guys. This is Eros. He is a Crimson and we got him in October at Tinley Park.

Update on Eros he is now 46.3 grams.

He is lovely but to be honest I woudl never have though he is a crimson by looks. He looks like a normal or maybe a hypo but those usually don't have those black broders, they are lighter in hypo's and/or thinner. Further, Crimsons should have close to wite or silvery backgrounds, Eros's looks pretty orange already. Did you buy it from a reputable breeder?

I bought him from a reputable breeder at the Tinley Park show last year and he was marked as a Crimson but I do see what you are saying and have wondered the same myself. I can only go by what the breeder told me. His tummy is different than the normal black checks so there is Hypo in there I think. What is the belly pattern on a Crimson?

So could he be a Hypo Normal then or should I go with what the breeder told me?

I am still learning about all the morphs so would love to learn more.

new pics on Eros. I do think he is a normal and not Crimson as marked when I bought him. I think he is turning into a real nice looking guy. Got some updated pics at 97.8 grams.

I think he is just going into blue here. He is looking a little dull.
