Finally, Our 1000th Post!

Jay@PJCReptiles

"Quality Before Quantity"
Evening Everyone!
Jay has been waiting to get home from work all day and see if his evening postings would be our 1000th post. We have tried to make sure that none of our posts were just mindless chit chat. Thank you to everyone we have come to know and share info and stories with.

So with that said, I, PJ, the "biker chick" wife, will be making our 1000th post!

I purchased a snake for Jay for Father's Day. The only thing wrong is that she arrived TODAY!!! Jay came home from work tonight and caught me trying to hide his real Father's Day present! Because of an unexpected happening here with the kids, I had not yet put his new snake away for safe hiding. It was kinda funny as he asked "What's that box?" and I just said "it's a box". As Jay and our oldest daughter were getting her baby Kenyan Sand Boa to eat a live pinky, I was trying to setup a subadult bin nonchalantly. Again Jay asked "do you have a snake out?". I said "no, just cleaning a few bins". Now I was getting a bit nervous. You see, Jay is nosy, just like a kid! As I was placing her in her new bin and about to put the cover on, Jay turns around and asked "who is that?" and I said "a cornsnake". Now he had me. Jay knows all the snakes just as good as I do. I continued to try and place the bin in the rack as if nothing was up. Jay started to smile from ear to ear and saying "let me see, let me see". I told him no and that it was for Father's Day and the kids would be very upset if he spoils it. Being the kid that Jay is, he managed to see what was in the bin.

I hope you all enjoy viewing "Matilda Jane" a Columbian Rainbow Boa. Thank you!

Smiles,
PJ :wavey:

I love them at that age! Its such a shame they lose all that pattern though.

Great new addition, and happy 1000th post!

The feeling's mutual on both accounts. Congrats on the milestone!

A reference to moi'?? I really hope you know that I meant that in the most positive light. Heck, my own mom has now been a biker chick for about the past 8 years! Though no practice for her this year yet as my Dad is recovering from his second rotator cuff surgery . . . later in the summer for them (fingers crossed) . . . he's really chomping at the bit!!

Being the kid that Jay is . . .
Never would have guess that, nope, never . . .

I hope you all enjoy viewing "Matilda Jane" a Columbian Rainbow Boa.
Gorgeous new addition, and worthy of a 1000th post!!
