i just had a random thought. could you use flower( like the white powder you cook with, not the plants) as a substrate?
i am only 13, i don't cook much, i thought it might be flour but i wasn't sure so i just spelt it the other way. I don't know why i thought of it, it was just a random thought.ultimuttone said:You obviously don't have much experience in the kitchen. The flour would become like disgusting playdough. Not attractive, and definitely not healthy for any animal to be living in.
Thanks be to Roy, for making Tracee spit coffee all over herself!I've had mine on 'Swiss Miss Hot Cocoa' powder for years, with no harmful effects. Although-- I thought one of my females was huffing with a mild R.I. once, but she was actually emitting a soft yodel.

makes sense :bang:DAND said:Flour would not be a good substrate. Too fine and would easily inhaled and it would turn to paste in the snakes mouth.
