From plans to reality?

Well I'm glad to see my plans for 08 went as planned...LOL
Now 09 is a different case.... Lets hope we have just a little bit of luck with them......

I am too indecisive - I keep changing my mind! Only one I'm 100% on is mating Angus to Barzona, my Upper Keys pair, to hopefully produce hypos and cinders as well as some nice keys babies. Maybe some bloodreds, fires, and some charcoal x anery type crosses - and like everyone else and their dog in the UK next year, some lavenders with interesting project hets :)

That was my 2008 plans ... I eventually did mate Barzona to Angus II, after Angus's escape, and produced my Keys, cinders, hypos, and a hypo cinder. I also made me a few fires and bloodreds, but never got round to the charcoal x anery line crosses. My chosen lavender project of the year was lavender het opal motley, which were my biggest and hungriest hatchlings of the year!

I had one planned pairing. They bred, she slugged out. Ack well....

I have nothing properly planned for 09. I don't know if I can be bothered with hatchlings this year despite having some lovely females more than ready...

Uhg, 2008 was a crappy breeding year for me...
My het butter mot girl (to a butter het mot boy) laid eggs about a month before I expected her to, and because I wasn't looking for 'em most got dried out. Two did hatch though :)
It was also the first year I was going to try my cream stripe male with my cream het stripe female (she's been bred to another cream het stripe male for several years) and the stripe male prolapsed and the girl slugged... TWICE! I was futzing over the stripe male so much I didn't think to pair her with the het stripe male for her second clutch (she always double clutches).
AAARG, I hope this year goes better :/

I switched some things around. I did put the male ghost mot with the female anery mot het hypo stripe and he was het stripe! And I got some beautiful snakes from that pairing. Cubeds and blue eyed ghost stripes.
My breeding loan fell through so the ghost mot/stripe went with the ghost stripe for the third consecutive year. Can never go wrong with those two anyway.
I picked up a new female that I didn't have yet when I made that thread and produced some more poss het cinders, banded ones!
I did prove my other anery mot female het hypo to be NOT het stripe, so that was one goal I did stick to!
