Yeah...you are going to be VERY busy in the next couple of months. So...where do you get bulk hatchrite that is affordable?

Holy cow--! Oh, and very nice racks, Rob!

May I ask what size containers you use for your eggs?

Good luck with that Rob. Thats alot, I think I will have more than my hands full with ~240 eggs this season.

The egg boxes in the pics are all Zip Lock containers.
It's the same container we use for some of our hatchling racks. Some of them on the rack will hold two clutches depending on the size.We have some bigger containers for those occasional tall cluches.
Thanks Rob

Thanks, Rob! I had "inherited" a couple of those exact containers from a potluck and was going to use them, but 25 eggs just seemed like too many for that size, so I have that clutch in a larger container that would hold one of the clumps which was a bit tall. I'm using moss, but would like to try the Hatchrite--thanks for letting us know!

Rob,

Thanks for the info! I've been using sphagnum moss and/or perlite/vermiculite mix and have had great results. Last year I tried hatch rite as I had a free bag from Daytona...like the stuff but couldn't find a way to do in a less costly manner. Thanks for the post....do they have a website or phone number?

Wow I wish the best of luck to you. That's a lot to look after and a lot of mouths to feed! I hope you don't have any that refuse a meal and have to freeze off for a king snake!!
