Ok so i have 3 non eaters i put 4 different flavored live pinkies in each feeding tub. lets see which one works . Any one got any other flavor suggestion. To try. The gecko is my daughters pet leapord gecko cant find a house gecko so rubbered the pinkies all over him which he didnt like i bought 2 green anoles and let them run all over the pinkies .

I've heard of breeders using the poop from anoles or rodents. Also some breeders actually break off the tail of an anole and rub the "juice" from the broken tail tip onto a pinkie. Honestly I've never had to do any of this. I've had success with live pinkies left in a deli cup with the snake overnight, also with frozen thawed, they have a stronger smell.

So far only the tuna one was eattin by one of my non eatters my two other non eaters have drowned some of the pinkies in the watercups i have for them.they bite but just not eatting them. Going to recent the pinkies today.

Well, that's one down! Normally you wouldn't want to attempt again so close to the first attempt, but I can see not wanting to waste live pinks.

I got two non-feeders this year to go with live for one and chicken fat scented for the other. They and everyone else have refused anole scented, anole tail in mouth, uro skin attached, tuna scented, Dawn washed, rat scented (although one will tease feed sections of rat tail, sometimes).

I think I need to make some kind of checklist or spreadsheet or something to keep track of all the methods I've tried!

Okay, do you know how to force feed mouse tails to them? It's very simple. Start with about a 2" section of adult or weanling mouse tail. If the baby will strike, get it to strike the fat end of the tail and then gently guide the tail partially down the esophagus. You can pause when the tail is about halfway down and see if the snake will continue to swallow on its own. If not, gently continue it down the rest of the way.

After a few chances with scenting, I start feeding tails. I offer the scented item first, and if in an hour or so the snake hasn't eaten, I feed it a mouse tail.

i force feed the others yesterday it was kinda a pain in the rear.. but now i know they ate some thing will attempt to feed again in 5 days.
