Getting my first Tablet

I have a Nook tablet. It's really terrible, I have to force quit and restart the bloody thing all the time. I've mostly given up and primarily use my iPhone when not at home and just use the reader function on the Nook.
 
We have a Motorola Xoom, which I wouldn't recommend because it's not being updated anymore. It's nice, though, and it's easy enough to find bluetooth keyboards to go with tablets. I'd go with Nexus 10 if I was getting anything now, or maybe a Samsung Galaxy Tab. I also have a Microsoft Surface RT and love it, but I love it because it acts like a computer, not a tablet. I also have a Nook Tablet, which I just prefer for reading. My husband has a Samsung Galaxy S3 and I have the S4, so we don't need data on our tablets.
 
Oh and I know Verizon sells a portable WiFi device if you can't tether to your phone. It's about $30 a month for 3GB in data a month. My stepdad has one of those and it works well too. I borrowed it for a few months when I didn't have access to any other kind of Internet. Can't really stream video much on that amount of data but works great for everything else you might want to do.
