Give me some music guys!

How have you heard of all of these obscure British artists LOL. You're American and you know more about my country's current music scene than I do. :grin01:

They're not ALL British.. lol
And maybe 'cause I'm not American.. I just go on Dancing Jesus a lot.. and my favourite band forums, I guess.

Oh and an old artist I think is good is Scott Walker...

I've only heard Sublime's "Sublime" album, and I love some songs, and don't like others so much. But the ones I love, I really love.

Sure fire albums for me at the moment (because they change weekly!):

* Pandemonium by Killing Joke - They went industrial and I, for one, said "Hell YEAH!". I have a ticket to see them performing this album end-to-end in October (if Jaz doesn't blow the tour again).

* Mutter by Rammstein - Saw them at London Docklands and I swear you could feel the heat from the flamethrowers half way down the arena. Killer album.

* Worlds Apart by ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead. Bit of an odd one - sort of Dream Theater-ish but heading into quirky territory. Just starting to see the merits of this myself, but have played it repeatedly over the weekend.

* A Slight Case of Overbombing by Sisters of Mercy - Their greatest hits compilation. I always had a soft spot for Stadium Goth.

Will suggest more if I think of anything.

I'm going to go with more recent stuff...Linkin Park, Fall Out Boy, HIM, Bowling for Soup, Katy Perry, All-American Rejects, Green Day...

If you want some amusing mostly family-friendly local guys that are definitely different go with DaVinci's Notebook.

I'll jump the gun and put out Trans-Siberian Orchestra (since most of their stuff is holidays) but they rock.

I'll add more as I think of them.

How about some Nine Inch Nails? Downward Spiral is my fave at the mo.

Smashing Pumpkins also - Mellon Collie and Machina in particular.

Gosh, I'm feeling '90s today!

life to lifeless - killswitch engage
The arms of sorrow - killswitch engage

I forgot to suggest KSE! Arms of Sorrow is an awesome song, the Holy Diver Dio Cover is really good too also This Fire Burns Always. And I recommend Slipknot too.
