Considering my current planned tup costs over 700 dollars, I need to find another tank. 20 gallons, secure, and preferred nothing over 100 dollars.
 
Have you checked Petsmart or Petco? They have 20 gallon long tanks with sliding locking lids for 60-80 dollars, depending on your location. You can also try checking craigslist for a used one, but make absolutely sure it has no holes whatsoever in the mesh lid.

I agree with Olivia on checking Craigslist. I just got 2 20L tanks and one 10 gallon tank (for the babies) for $50. The 20L are brand new, the ten is used but can be cleaned. Best bargains around, and Petco also has $1/gallon sales pretty often.
