Dean, if nothing else you have caused me to reflect back on the fantastic group of people that I have had the pleasure of working with over the past 3 years! There is quite honestly not a single person that I have purchased from, sold to, or traded with that has left a bad taste in my mouth. It's remarkable really, and I am extremely grateful for the experiences of the past and hopefully in the future.

Before supplying my own list, I'd like to thank those that have already put me on theirs! I can't stress enough how hard I try to supply great customer service along with quality animals. I like to think I'm to the good side, but sometimes you never know! :shrugs:

all the people above mentioned are great people...I'd to add a couple people to this thread

Sean and Celia from Exotics By Nature....haven't personally bought from them but know of a few people that have and that are extremely pleased with the animals they got from them

second is John Stolz of Tails N' Scales here in Kansas. He's a great guy to deal with and buy from. all his snakes, lizards, inverts, amphibians, and fish are all very well taken care of and with most of his snakes which include his ball pythons, corns, kings, milks, and BCI's he breeds and sells his own babies...and their extremely healthy and well looked after...I've gotten all of my snakes from from him which are babies he hatched out this year...they are a normal BP, a normal corn(het amel motley), and a sunglow corn. all three have never refused a meal, they don't eat during shed but lots of snakes don't eat while their in shed so thats fine. And I'm about to get my fourth snake from him, a lovely '05 female dumeril's ground boa...with a sugar sweet temperament, and since I'm a regular customer i can put money down on her(don't have enough money to get her or a tub and accessories for her yet) and he'll put her in the back hold her for me as long as need be instead of the normal 30 days just cause I'm a regular customer. he's great guy and I'd recommend anyone to him.

Going now i think I'm rambling...

thanks so much

well i would alway like to jump on the band wagon and thank a couple people

Stephen (snakebreeder.com) whom i got my female blizzard and also put me onto Sue Nelson (www.snake-city.com) who i got my male blizzard from, both snakes are going well, and both where very helpful and both transactions went well

Nah, it wasn't really intended for that purpose. I'd be less than truthful if I said it wasn't inspired by that thread, but I was merely hoping that we could focus on some positive stuff. Things just seem a little hostile around here lately, and I figured that we could use a reminder of how important this community's members are to each other. :)

But in the spirit of full disclosure, I'll add that I DO have a transaction pending with Joe P.. I'm hoping he picks me out a nice pair of Lava Okeetees. I missed out on his '05s, so I placed a deposit on them late last year.

i think this is a great idea, it shows our appreciation and plus it gives people who are interested in purchasing corns and other reptiles a sense of who's good. usually when i'm looking for info about a breeder/dealer i find tons of info on bad guys. not much about the good guys.

and an update: i got the MBK from Gino Sassini, he's just stunning. it's everything i wanted. Thanks Gino at Lost World Reptiles!

Oh my goodness.. In my hurry to get my post written, I forgot that two of my bloods came from Stephen W.! :eek1: I can't believe I forgot that, and I'm so sorry!
Stephen was wonderful to work with, and his snakes are gems. I'm looking forward to ordering from him again next year! :)

Great idea!

There are so many wonderful corn breeders, big and small, with whom I have done business (bought or sold) over the years, that I wouldn't DARE try to single any out - I would miss way too many!

And I wouldn't want to list list all of the people in this community with whom I have enjoyed corresponding via posts or emails, or even meeting in person at the shows - again way too many! It is much of what makes this business interesting and worthwhile, beyond enjoyment of the animals themselves.

But I will list a few people I feel have helped ALL of us, and the cornsnake knowledge base and community in general. I have known most of them for a quite a long time and consider them friends, and think our little community is very lucky to have them.

Connie Hurley - for her special cornsnake newsletter, her scientific feeding experiments, and professional help in answering technical questions that her vet training and experience make her uniquely qualified to do.

Chuck Pritzel - for the ACR, the Morph Guide, and his help to all of those newbies and oldies befuddled by some genetic riddle.

Rich Z. - for starting this forum.

Don S. - for his new book, but even more importantly, for the "big one" to come in a year or so.

And kudos to all of you who have contributed to make Don's book, the Newsletter, both of our books, and this forum, an informative and colorful (with photos) place to go for fun, great info, and camaraderie!

Thanks to you all, it is what it is!

I bought corns from:

Cornking, he has some amazing corns! I have bought some very nice hatchlings from him, and he gives great service! (3x corns)

www.snakes.nl, great breeder, very nice corns, and great service, very caring breeder! (3x corns)

Special references:

SnakeXperience; for giving good guidence & advices on feeding! And he delivered me my silverqueen I bought from snakes.nl

Gab, I dont know if she is an member here, bought she's a great breeder! didnt buy corns from here, but some very nice leopard gecko's! And she's a great reptile-friend!

Blutengel; I did some non-corn bussiness with her ;) And she helped me out great with sharing some nutribac with me.

Marc Vervest, I bought the morph guide from him, and is a nice person :)

And special thanks to:
The other dutchies/belgiums for just loving corns and sharing information, new blood & a great passion! It is really nice to share this passion with other dutch people!

And all the other nice corn people/breeders for being nice passionate people!

First off, I want to thank Dean for starting this wonderful thread! Wonderful idea!

Next, I've done business with quite a few breeders over the years, all of them have been terrific! I doubt I can remember all of them, but I'll do my best:

Rich Z - I really have no idea just how many snakes I've purchased from him over the years. Far too many to count right now at the very least!

Zach Shepherd - He has to be one of the best! I still owe you at least one Zach!

Connie Hurley - She's an absolute angel! First picks of several projects are already tagged for you!

Jeff Mohr, Carol Huddleston, Gino Sassani, Scott Petty, Mike Blickendorfer, Ultimate Corns and Charlene Dourty have also been wonderful to deal with and will get my business again.

And then there are all the wonderful people who have purchased, or planned on purchasing, snakes from me. To all of you...My Heartfelt Thanks!

And then there is one more I didn't forget to mention...Joe Cala, who is currently holding my pair of bloodred hatchlings for me.

I will admit I am VERY picky when it comes to adding to my collection, and since this is a hobby for me, not only am I looking for exceptional snakes, it is also important to me that I deal with people who are knowledgeable, kind and honest so that my hobby stays fun. On all these points, I just can't say enough good things about Don Soderburg. I chanced on his website years ago when my 6 year-old-daughter had her heart set on getting a snake and I knew nothing about them. I couldn't believe that someone who knew I was not going to buy anything from them could be so generous with advice. Now, many snakes later, I am a loyal customer of SMR and many of my corns have come from Don. Every one I have gotten from him has been absolutely stunning (did I mention I am picky?). The customer service I have received from him never fails to be over-the-top. Couldn't be happier.

I also wanted to especially mention the pretty hatchlings I got this year from Stephan Wagner, and I was very happy with how that transaction went.

I knew that I would forget people........bought a bunch of adults from Geoff Stricker - Composite Corns and some hatchlings from Ultimate Corns....both transaction were great.......I think that was everyone.

This really is a nice touch to the forum.
The list would be too long to thank everyone here I sold to but I must say I've NEVER had a buyer that found us through this forum that was any trouble.
I'm grateful to all of you.
I will give some kudos to folks who have supplied stuff to me:

Bill and Kathy are obviously tops and we'll be working together a bit. I consider them great friends. Plus Bill's photos have made the CD a killer looking package

Mike at Reptilian Dreams is one of the best guys to chat with and I've gotten a couple things over the years and have always been pleased

John at Suncoast is one of the most upfront guys in the biz. Always good animals and an honorable guy on top.

Manny from Myexotics. Sure he's not doing snakes anymore but a top guy anyway.

Davey from Davey's snakes is another good friend who always seems to buy more than he sells.

Rich here at Serpenco has also provided a top notch breeder or two over the years.

Finally you can't go wrong with Pasco Paul's Colubrids and he's one hell of a musician on top of that.

I'm sure I missed someone but if I can get this old brain hitting on all 8 cylinders I'll add them then.
I've never bought from them but I can vouch for Chris at CML and Jim at Mostly Harmless.

Thanks to the folks who've had nice things to say about me.
It means a lot.
And Ellen (my wife and webmaster) is grateful for the website compliments.
Before this starts looking like a CD acknowledgement page I'll sign off.
Good Idea:)

Is Composite Corns still active? The site went down in August, then came back in October with the exact same pages, like nothing happened. That user hasn't posted anything since July 19 around the end of his two-headed snake offer, so I've always wondered.
