I haven't spoken to my ex in almost a year. This made me very happy. Today he called me up in huge need of a favor. I was at no reason obligated to do this favor, but I knew there was something I could gain out of the situation...
In Jan 2008 we broke up and I moved into my moms. A few of you might remember that I had to "get rid" of my snakes as my mother would not allow them there. So the ex offered to take my two prized pets, a normal cornsnake motley named Crue (my first snake) that I got from JoeJr14 and a beardie named Godzilla (that I got from Vinman). I thought this was a good decision as I would at least know they would be cared for.
I'm out of my mom's now, so I told him, I would only do that favor if he gave me back these two. His response "Well, Godzilla died and I don't care about having Crue here, so yeah, you can have him back."
I am so heartbroken. He claims that Godzilla stopped eating and drinking and he did absolutely nothing about it and he essentially let the beardie starve to death. No research. No vet. Hell, he could have called me and I would have taken care of him. Now Crue, he says, is eating a hopper every 3 weeks. An 05 snake. Clearly should be at an adult size now, with adult mice. And every 3 weeks?!!!!! You have got to be kidding me.
While I am happy I get Crue back, I am appalled. I'm so happy I'm not with him anymore.
I know this is a rather useless post, but it makes me happy to be getting Crue back and maybe some of you could understand. And I definitely wanted to talk about the bad feeding habits to those who would understand.

Sorry to hear about the beardie, but glad your other baby is back home. Bet he'll be glad to see more regular meals! Let alone bigger ones
