The biweekly all animal expo is this Saturday, I'm going for feeders and a few other items. I already have 2 corns, I got 1 in the beginning of September and another last Sunday. My wife will kill me if I come home with another. Maybe I'll just make her go with me. Just to keep me in check.

Oh, honey, this is a losing battle! I think more than half of us have said "NO MORE!" at least 3 or more times. I now have 9.

Plus, it is better to ask for forgiveness that ask for permission!

Lol, true, true. 9 corns huh? That's awesome. I'm at 3 now (one is my daughters). That's only since September 6th.

I'm up to 20 corns, in addition to my other reptiles. I think I've reached a stopping point...for now!

I remember when 10 seemed like so many. Now I have 68 permanent snakes...Well, I guess a few of those are breeding loans, but they aren't going anywhere soon. This year is the first time I've had a whole clutch to hold back. I don't know what I'll do when they are yearlings...

I did it! No new snake. It was hard though. I got a ton of stuff for only $50.00. A new water dish, a kick butt piece of a driftwood, 2 digital probe thermometers, a big bag of moss some screen clips and a couple of red heat bulbs. 😃

It's only about $10/snake/year. Maybe a little less, with vacations, them being blue, etc. Right now I have a total of about 100, counting babies. Maybe I don't want to add that up! :)

Were up to.... 10...

The only bad thing I say is that if you like to really get into decorating the vivs and displaying them sometimese less is more. When we just had two I spent a lot of time adding pretty hides and vines and making their vivs really pretty. Now life has gotten busy and its a challenge to just keep the enclosures clean with fresh water. We enjoyed breeding this year and its very enriching for our kids as well.

Congratulations on not getting another snake. I would have been buttering Mike up for weeks. I was so disappointed when Repticon was canceled in my area. Really bummed. On the other hand, I am now wondering why Nanci is holding back and entire clutch...I should come visit you Nanci.

Hehehe!! Hey, do you know about the Burrs in hastings, for mice??

And I _might_ be going to Replicon in Tampa next weekend. Saturday.

And if you need a baby...

I bought a candino ball python about a month ago and my partner said "NO MORE." He says it counts as 5 corn snakes, lol.

They have tons of different snakes and reptiles. There is probably 20 or more vendors there. So much supplies, almost everything a reptile owner could need. It's all so cheap too! I feel fortunate to have this expo only 15 minutes away, twice a month.

Twice a month! So lucky... or unlucky I guess depending on how you look at it. We have one here twice a year, plus 3 others within 3 hours driving (each way). So if you miss it, you're out of luck for 6 more months! How busy are the shows when they are so frequent?

We have them pretty frequently in Orlando and Tampa but its hard for me and my husband to get a weekend off together to go.

The expos are always busy. It starts at 10:00am, if you get there after noon it's packed! The feeders there are cheap too. I bought a 6 month supply of hoppers for $16.00.
