Oh woa! I can't believe how quickly they change, you really do need to photograph them every single day don't you!
Especially when they reach a certain point... it does seem you need to photograph them, each day, in order to catch all the phases, etc., during their change into green.
Actually, once they reach the point where they are to turn green (at about a year old, though some could be as young as six months +/-), some turn green very quickly (literally overnight or taking up to a week) while others are a wee slower (taking weeks)... and yet others, it seems, are much slower (taking months). However, even the "slower ones" go through a lot of change so that, either way, many photos would need to be taken.
'Course, once the green comes in, they can still go through some more changes over a bit of time.
Biaks seem to be an "exception to the rule" as they can take years.
Alas, I did not have the time to photograph Jayden, each day, since the time of his last, & very recent, shed... and will not be able to take daily photos right at this time.
