Has anyone every bought from Rodentpro.com

I'm thinking of ordering my F/T online, just wondering if anyone has bought from rodentpro? Also are there any other online suppliers or F/T mice/rats?

Thanks!

I would recommend Mouse Factory. I got my first order last week, based on Joe Jr.'s recommendation. The mice are pristine white, plump, odorless, arrived solidly frozen the next day (guaranteed!) and are just gorgeous.

Rodentpro is the only place I've ordered from. I check around on pricing regularly, and they always come out best in the end. My snakes all eat without issue and are healthy, so that works for me.

I second the Mouse Factory recommendation over Rodentpro. Most of the mice I got from Rodentpro came to me with freezerburn. The ones that were on sale (XL mice) were also very busted up- Huge patches of hair also fall off of them when thawing etc. And that was from day one of receiving them. I have not noticed that they caused any problems (I'm still feeding them in fact to my large snakes) but I can't imagine that the nutrition could be as much as fresher ones.

The next order I made was from the Mouse Factory. Wow! Their fuzzies are bigger than the hoppers I got from Rodentpro. Perfect looking too, like they were just frozen.

I don't know the price difference off hand, but I feel it's worth it. I just ordered 200 pinks from them- with shipping it came to 65 bucks. Beats the heck out of the pet store IMO.

Which is cheaper to get, 100 fuzzy mice, 150 hoppers, and 50 weanling mice at rodent pro, or the Mouse Factory. Without shipping the MF is $117.50 is that a lot to spend on the mice. (thats without shipping) I don't know rodent pro but last time I got 100 pinks, and 100 hopps and the total came out to be like 72 bucks with shipping.

Thanks :D

I'm not sure. As I've said, I don't have any idea what the price difference is. I know the quality is better and I know it's cheaper than any local source. If you need to know how much mouse factory charges for the shipment our your order, send her an email..

I just recieved my shipment from RP. I am very happy with the cleanliness and freshness. They were also still completely frozen ( no clumps), no freezer burn. Now, TMF may be superior and I may try them next time just to compare. I have not been disappointed with RP. :)

I order from RP - thye looked good and were froze solid - my animals are eating and growing. Good place!

OK, here's your comparison.. I just picked one off the top of each bag as well, so these are perfect examples. As well as the size difference, just about every leg is broken on the Rodentpro hopper, and he smells strongly of mouse urine when thawed.. I admit, I'm making the ASSUMPTION that the larger fuzzy has had better nutrition than the smaller hopper. You decide for yourself though..

And if I remember correctly Joe, I have you and Nanci to thank for the recommendation... Edit** I meant recommendation to the Mouse Factory! Just realized that this reads as if I'm talking about recommendation to Rodentpro, lol..

lol the one on the right, my snakes had trouble getting down. Its not to big, but it was very stiff feeling. I'm guessing its from RP... :D

I havent had a chance to test TMF, but I'm guessing my snakes will love it. ps. # of my 4 snakes threw up the black one... :puke01:

just putting that out there...

I don't know what's up with the mouse in the attached pic, but my RP orders never came in like that over the several years I've used them. :shrugs: I've also had no problem with my snakes eating the rodents. I have no complaints with RP and I keep a back stock in case my local rat supplier is short (though of course I have to buy bulk mouse pinks for hatchlings).
