HATCHLING THREAD (VOL. 3) 2014-2015 Edition

The Okeetee pictured here is one of my most anticipated projects, and is carrying the genes for "Supreme Reverse Okeetees". Can't wait until the first ones hatch! I have a feeling they will surpass any EROs that have ever been seen!!

We should see the first ones around December 2015.

Not sure that I've personally noticed, but now I'm curious.

Yeah I did a crap job explaining that. The stripe that is connected to the head spear is always lighter in stripes and terrazzos and is flanked by the darker stripes. Like in your cinderazzo. But in the SK one the dorsalmost stripe is the dark red one (although it is a little whacked out near the head, no surprising in an SK). It's like the lighter stripe that would be connected at the head spear gets split by the dark red stripe that starts to run along the spine, unlike a normal terrazzo.

Those were all awesome, Steve. I'm really curious how those normal-colored sunkissed corns are doing :)

I'll try and gets pics soon!

Selectively bred :)

Lol, Steve had an ERO that practically had no red left, I joked he should call them supreme reverse okeetees but I don't know if that's even what he's talking about :)

Haha no, but that is where I got the name from LOL!!

I thank you for that name idea sir !!

Gottcha Steve, selective. I'm guessing a more enhanced ERO ??

Don't recall seeing that one Dustin, but I like the name as well.

Can't wait to see them Steve !!

Technically they will be EROs with Redcoat. Here is the original pairing.

Lol I was JUST about to ask if that was your plan.
LOL!! Yep :)
Ahhhh, ok I think I'm following now.

"Supreme" will be coined to actual REDCOAT ERO's and not necessarily ERO's with little to no blotch color ??

Walter
:crazy02:BOUT' CORNS !!
That's correct.
Thanks for the link Dustin !! Na, don't recall seeing that one.

I figure it won't be much longer before Steve produces some ERO's with absolutely NO blotch color.

Walter
:crazy02:BOUT' CORNS !!

That's my goal, especially with the Redcoat gene in the mix.
