Ok. So a friend has 16 hatchlings that have just completed their first shed. The mother is an anery and the father a lavender. Based on the little squimers she ended up with I am guessing the lav is het hypo and het anery. The mother is het hypo and het lavender? Here are a couple pictures. Have I got this right? First two are normal. Got 2 of them. Next two are Hypo? Got 2 as well.

The first picture is an anery. Note the silver eyes. The last two most likely are ghosts, but are a bit iffy. I'm not as experienced about picking out lavender babies.

Actually, lavenders typically have a dark iris with a ruby pupil. If the iris is light colored, it is probably a ghost.

I would say that those are ghosts and not lavender hatchlings. Most of the lavenders I've seen and hatched out are more of the mocha coloration. However, I've hatched out more ghosts than lavenders and their color seems just a bit off to me. It is far too uniformly gray without any hint of the pastels I usually see in ghost hatchlings. For some silly reason, moonstone keeps coming to mind. Of course, it's early and I've not had more than a sip of coffee to jumpstart my brain so I will stand by my original thought until proven otherwise through breeding trials.

Hatchling #1 is not normal. It has silver eyes. Oops- I see Meagan got that. I don't know what the last two are. Not lavenders. Gotta be ghosts. But they are soooo gray!
