Haven't posted the green stuff lately...DUW!

MegF.

That's for sale???
I haven't put up pictures of the green trees lately. I picked up this gorgeous boy today at the columbia show. Couldn't pass him up and he'll make a great pairing for my girl Tempest next year. Haven't named him yet, but the girls at work insist that they get to name the next one....so hopefully he'll have something decent to fit him. The other is an updated photo of Fuego. She's getting a lot of blue in her as well as the mite phasing. The last stuff is of Surprise. She's got a surprising amount of blue for a Biak type. Pretty girl!

Wow! I love the blue line down his back, and how smooth he looks. Fuego, now that I am over the shock of her color change, is just amazing. I love her turquoise highlights, and the thinnest yellow line running through her eyes. And not an obnoxious yellow, either, it's a beautiful soft powder yellow. I love Surprise's eyes: mossy green, bottomless, like a pond.

Nanci have you just had a liquid lunch....LOL
You are right though...... These snakes do look paint shopped.... So beautiful... And eloquently put... ;)

They are stunning. I only ever get to see one in person. I'm just in awe of their beauty.

I only have one complaint... that wasn't nearly enough photos!

They are simply gorgeous... I can see why the new boy was hard to pass up as well!

They're gorgeous! I simply love this breeds heads, and their eyes are just captivating. <3
I agree about the heads. I'm not sure why, maybe because they have more pronounced differences, they're not smooth shaped.
Colors are nice too, thanks Meg.

Soooo... you do plan on breeding Tempest? I do recall saying that if I ever got a GTP it would have to be one of her offspring... being as she's perfect and all.

How's the temperment on the new guy? He's also amazing and I can see how they'd make a perfect pairing. :)

Thanks to everyone who sent such nice compliments. In answer...yes, I like GTP's...can't help it, they are so beautiful and diverse. Jenn: I plan on breeding this boy to Tempest. Perhaps next year. She's not at 800 grams yet..the minimum recommended weight. She's well past the year mark since her prolapse so I'm hopeful she'll be fine. I am VERY conservative on feeding though so she's not put on the weight as quickly as a snake that is fed weekly. Better for her though. He's already 625 grams though so he's plenty old enough to "do the deed". You'd be among the first to know about it! As far as temperament...he's a sweet and calm as Miss T. The Sorong types seem to be like that. He took a f/t African rat this evening which makes me feel good. The guy who had him now was feeding live. I wasn't sure if he'd take f/t, although I've never had one refuse it as long as it's very hot. He was busy checking out his cage last I looked at him.
In answer to the complaints about the lack of pictures...I figured two of each was plenty :) I'll take more of him later when he's settled in. My batteries were going dead on the camera too so I couldn't take more than that or the one's I took were similar.

Fuego is one of my favorites too, although Surprise is a snake that seems to be growing on me :)

Tempest made me get a chondro... Those are all beautiful animals, but my favorite is Feugo. I remember her as a tiny wee baby!

She was very tiny. She's still a small girl, and with my conservative feeding regimin for these guys, she'll take a while to get to breeding weight. I think she'll produce some wild children though!
