Hello!

New here. But you might have already figured that out.

Im from the middle of nowhere in Missouri, its GRAND... not really, that was sarcasim but yea. Haha. =]

I have 3 corns, Nagini, Oasis, and Spazzy. They're all pretty much hatchlings still. Only about a month old, nagini might be a bit older give or take a week and a half. Spazzy is the smallest, but rapidly catching up.

Nagini is my beautiful Snow Corn.
Oasis im pretty sure is a Ultramel.
And we arent sure what Spazzy is yet, but hes a BEAUTIFUL chocolate color.

However this morning we had a slight mishap, all 3 snakes got on the loose. After cleaning my room and digging around we were able to find Oasis in my closet hiding in a shoe, and Nagini was happily napping on top of a hot topic bag under a book slightly ajar over the bag.

However, Spazzy is still on the loose, and knowing his spastic "i think im a rattlesnake" self... he could be halfway to australia. lol. We havent given up the search though.

Was looking to see if there was any helpful tips as far as Where to look.

Off to join the search again.

Good day! =]

Hi and welcome.

I'm just guessing but since all three escaped all three were in same viv??? You may want to read the stickies ate the top of 'behavior' and 'health...'

Well, when i was a little girl and lived in Cali, we kept 7 corns in a single large Viv and did just fine, based on past experiences, we decided to give it a shot.

But this morning when my mother checked on Nagini who'd been fed last night.. to no avail again[but thats another story], she said all 3 were in the Viv... when i woke up, they were missing, which is when we realized the sliders that cover the holes for wires and such were wide open, unblocked. the perfect escape route. YAYYYY. *rolls eyes*

Mom came home for work early, we tore this half of the house apart, and have yet to find Spazzy... im guessing we either overlooked him, he moved while we were looking, or hes hiding in mom's room... which i'd find funny for dad to find laying on him come morning. But with spazzy, that'd be doing things far to easily lol. Hes quite the hand full.

Welcome to the forums! I lost my normal a couple of months ago and I am still looking for it. Good luck finding yours!:awcrap:

ty, ty. Hopefully he comes searching for the water we set out for him.

He just ate two days ago, so we didnt see a point in setting a food trap of some sort.

did you check under the sink wrapped around the pipes
i just found my Maple(ultramel) there2 days ago

Welcome to the forum! I hope you find your missing snake! My friend who I trusted to care for 2 of my snakes has lost both of them..and I can basiclly see when I'm there that he doesn't really even care that their missing which really angers me..I had a beautiful cali. king baby and a gorgous oketee corn..but thanks to his negligence their both lost..He didn't even realize that the king snake was gone..I noticed it the last time i was there..but I apologize for my mini rant..

I'm glad you found 2 of your missing snakes and I wish you great luck in finding the remaining little guy..keep us posted..

Just do a search on this forum for ways to catch lost snakes..There have been several posts that state some really handy ideas..

Nope, havent checked the sink pipes yet. Mom swears up and down there "no way they got past the heavy doors". But who knows, i probably will in a bit. Right now, its still a bit in their active period, who knows where hes trying to slither to. Hes so small though... So its possible.

Thought i'd give you some pictures of my MIA and the roomies lol.

getting used to how attached one can get to their snakes again lol...

and trying to keep from buying More. xD

hehe. =]

ohhh and this is a test on my siggy... if i did it wrong, let me know.

Welcome, and good luck finding your still-missing baby. (In the photo, Spazzy looks like a pretty little classic corn.) You're in the right place for fun and advice, but in all fairness, I gotta warn ya; you're seriously in the wrong place if you're trying not to buy more! lol

SPAZZY HAS BEEN FOUND! =]

He returned to the tank and hid under it like 10 minutes ago for the Heat Pad. =]]]

My friend Josh found him when he went to play with my duct tape tie.

Which is a good thing, we have a house full of family and friends that are deathly afraid of snakes. =]]

But im HAPPY and great that hes home and safe now in the tank [which has been hole proofed now that we found the hole]

Thanks.

I've been going out of my mind cause of the little thing.

So small, so easy to miss and hurt not knowing hes there.

So, i've found a bit of peace in mind and heart knowing hes[?] back in his home. =]]]

Btw, if i mention nagini or oasis as she, and spazzy as a he... sorry, its habbit.

Its just what it Feels like to me. =]

OH and i just thought i should say, because everyone read some of my stuff earlier... for the record, im 17, but i know far more for my age than alot of "children", as we are labeled. Im very artistic. Im a photographer, the 2nd best competitor in my state in technical school competitions for Web Design[meaning highschoolers AND college students], and a designer[artistically, both by hand and on the computer]. I design websites using Flash, HTML, XHTML, and Javascript. I use photoshop, adobe, and various other programs for editing on my computer, including Paint depending on what im doing. And was offered a full ride to get my Graphic Design degree. However, turned it down in hopes of getting my Music Management and Merchandising degree in Chicago, IL. =] I design tattoos and Band Logos for local bands in Missouri and even drew my own tattoo that i have.. however because im highly picky, will probably have someone else design my next two tattoos. Once i've decided on my "collection" im going to take pictures of my babies, and have the Snakes drawn so that they look like they are "climbing" up my back, and for my 18th birthday will have Freiheit written on my arm. =]

I thought a bit of info about me, would be helpful for people to get a feel for who i am. Im a very creative person, and i spend more time fretting about my pets and friends, than myself... Therefore i sadly end up sick more than i should, and then feel bad because i cant take care of the ones i care about. Which i should work on that now that i've graduated.. Lol! xD I earned my niy ckname 'Diva' from my friends and family, mom says i act like the spoiled kind, my friends say i earned it from the fact i was involved in all the HS plays in one way or another... im a TECH geek. =] yayyy hehe.

Im -highly- opinionated and Vastly open minded to new and different things. Mom says its a "creative person thing", lol.

Your opinions of me: if negative, will mean Very Little to me, and wont hurt me, its not my loss; if positive, will mean the world, i can be very nice to those who treat me with respect and trust too.

Who I Am: Will depend on who You are. You make the decision on which side of me you see. =]

Welcome Diva. Nice intro, I guess we already know you now.
Age doesn't seem to be a handicap here. There are a few members in their teens on this forum who are able to "speak" their mind as well (and better sometimes) than the older members.
