Hello! making my first post ...and doing my research! In my colledge i had a nice red tail boa i raised from a baby and had him for many years , he reached 7 feet and was very heavy and healthy and he spent alot of time clinging to me while i was on the computer. Sadly he escaped one day and i found him about a week later dead below a heating vent  . I was very angry at myself for his death for years, i never figured out how he escaped either and never got another pet since.

Well , i have decided to get back into it and this time start with a corn snake . its been 20 years now since i lost the boa so i think its time to move on and get into it again. I'm doing my research first as usualy , i will read for a good month or 2 before I start buying a setup and corn snake .

I am thinking of making a nice quality enclosure or I might just buy a nice setup. When i was a kid of 14 my dad and I raised show quality Beta's , we had about 200 adults and about 20 tanks for breeding. I'm debating getting into breeding I think as what i have read so far appeals to biologist side but we shall see.

Well that all I got , I'm a 44 yr old IT guy with 25 years of system admin and support stuff under my belt so glad to help with any PC questions if oyu will answer my corn snake questions! :wavey:

PS - I'm very active on ar15.com , same handle there as here.

Welcome and you've come to a great place to get all your questions answered! :) I am sorry to hear about your boa but glad you've decided to get back into it. Wish you the best and you have to post pictures when you get your new snake. :D
