Ok i have a UVB Exo Terra Fluorescent Bulb and heard they provide UVB radiation and these bother the snake because they have no eyelids.
Here is his exact quote:
"UVB is good for lizards, but not cornsnakes. Since lizards have eyelids, they can close their eyes to avoid radiation that will fry their retinas. Your snake will probably hide from it, but if you notice the light is always in the snake's eyes, better get rid of that light. Corns do not need light to metabolize calcium. In other words, they do not require vitamin D3 like most lizards do. "
Is this true he also told me ATH is bad too plus i cant find a small enough bulb for my set up 75 watt was too much now i am with the flourescent thingy. What light should i use!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also if the light you provide me with dosent supply heat i am thinking of getting a heat pad for my bottom right hide. Here is my tank if it helps.
