So i had an unexpected breeding of my two adults my they are an anery and an amel morph, im thinking 3 of the babys are coral snows, but the 4th im totaly stumped... She has a light purple base color and dark brown spotting with bright red/orange in them...here are pics of them can anyone give me an idea of what her morph might be.

Here are my adults

Here are the corals (2of them lol cant get the 3rd to stay still)

And here is my mistry girl (who i fell in love with and im keeping, she is so sweet and layed back)

I'm not certain your big adult there is an amel. Can we get a close up of the eye?

The "mystery" baby is, in fact, a normal!

Normals can have a light purple as a base color??? I will try and get a good pic. if he isnt an amel, what is he?

Thanks for the opinions im realy new at this please keep them comming, what can distinguish a coral from an amel?

Coral snows look like snows when they hatch. They are also line-bred so unless the parents are corals, the babies are unlikely to be corals.

I'd actually lay money on your (very pretty) babies being normals het amel and amels. They'll shed between a week to 10 days after hatching, generally.

Cute babies! I'm going with amels and normals - the purple tone you're seeing is just the blue phase of their first shed cycle, and it's probably why your little amels are so light at the moment. I imagine once they all shed it will be a bit easier to see the orange coming through.

Awsome thanks that was totaly trowing me off lol and i dont know anything about my adults backround as they are rescues.

Here is a better shot of my males eye

With him having black in his eye and on his belly does that make him a normal as well?

I personally don't think your adult male is an amel. His eyes look brown and black and not red. What is he? Maybe some kind of ultra but im not sure. But he must be het amel to throw those babies.

I'd say your adult male is an ultramel. That would explain the amel hatchlings. He's just too darn bright for a simple hypo, so I'm going ultramel.

He is more orange than yellow the pics dont realy do his colors justice lol
He has no black tones on his back or head other than his puple and his belly pattern
