Sedda said:no need to teach me about blood massI'm a biology student and I spent a whole semester researching on snakes and their biogoly in my final year. I know what about 2 ml looks like, but it doesn't look nearly as bad as in that pic.
That pic of Monty was taken last summerwhen he was about 1 year old, but he's a little chubbier now(and yes, as in Monty Python, love "the holy grail" ) Monty is now getting a hamster or a gerbil every 7-10 days.
Oh yeah and that pic of the female in the tube, it was taken the day after I got her, I've been feeding her adult mice every 5-7 days since then, she looks a little chubbier now :eats02:
When I got them their discharge was like transparent gel with a few white balls in it, now it finally looks like "normal" snake poo

rhinecat said:Ferrets are illegal in all of California, and some cities and counties in the rest of the U.S., not the whole country. And they're illegal in California because they could become an invasive species if people released or lost non-neutered ferrets, not because they kill chickens. They are not legal with a license in any of California. No such license exists.
Sedda: Most U.S. vets, for what it's worth, will treat animals that are hurt, regardless of their legality. Before my city made ferrets legal, I was fostering a neglected ferret who was openly seen at two different vets, and neither of them batted an eye. You can always call a vet's office and say "Do you treat snakes?" and if they say "No, they're illegal," you can say "Thank you for your time" and call the next vet's office. No one will track you down for making an informational phone call.![]()
