Here comes the snow!

Wow! Don't hate me for saying this but I love snow. I know I know, it causes all sorts of problems but it's always dirty and sludgy here in England, you guys have all this crisp bright white fresh pretty snow all ready to run through and throw at each other :)
(Runs away before she gets a beating.)

I love the snow too but I drive a lot and it makes for a real mess!

Shoveling is not too fun either :)

Here is a pic from this morning....about 16 inches and still snowing :awcrap:

TrpnBils - looks like I got away with it :D

Sorry but it's just getting prettier! Look how fluffy and gorgeous it is. It's a case of more snow, more play with me.

Hey Tracee,

You are more than welcome to come on over and do some shoveling :)

To bad you live like 2,000 miles away! lol

I fear not much shovelling would get done in favour of playage. I turn into a 5 year old when I see snow. Trees are a perfect vantage point for sniping the neighbours' kids, just so you know.. Hmm yes I'd better stay where I am, where our snow is slushy and useless.

Well, here the snow is useless since it's only reached the high of 15 F (10 C) here. No making of snowballs here.

Tracee got some snow this morning!! :D
It was pathetic, tiny, non fluffy, more-like-white-rain useless snow, but I still got to twirl around like a kid in it for a few minutes before work.

Useless snow should be banned I think DAND, if you can't throw it at someone what's the point?

I agree, what we get over here is pathetic compaired with those pic's, but we had some on christmass day so it's not all bad :nyah: .

It had been snowing for about 30 mins in this pic and got to 4 inches deep :nyah:.

Damn you! You know what we got here? Nothing....
Stupid English weather, we've been promised snow about three times now and got nada. *Sigh*

We've got a couple feet of it to spare, feel free to take it back to England with you...lol.

Sheesh! "SNOW" is a four letter word to me! I hate the stuff. One of the reasons I moved to Florida from Maryland was to escape from it. Haven't seen the white crapola for 14 years now. And don't miss it a bit.

Darn, what an absolutely GRUESOME bunch of photos in this thread. Made my earlobes feel numb just looking at them....

It did get down to 22 degrees here last night (Sunday) night and supposed to dip to 29 tonight. There goes the tropical plants. Hope our tangerine trees don't get hit too hard. They have gotten too big to throw tarps overtop of them like we used to do.

Now I fell lucky. LIving in south jersey we get snow and also can get hurricanes. I thought I moved here from NY to escape the crazy weather. OH well...

All we have to worry about are earthquakes in the Pacific NW!! LOL

I love snow, myself, coming from Alaska and Colorado. But you don't want it here in Seattle/Tacoma. It's wet, it freezes quickly and there's nowhere you can drive that isn't straight up or straight down in the cities. It's like curling with cars.
