Hey Cleveland Peeps (and those nearby!)

Well, we have the ledges in Brunswick we could go to or anywhere in the Metroparks area down that way as well. Just thinking it might be more "central" for those coming up from south of Cleveland?
 
Ok Josh, Hallie and Darcy - what would you guys like to do? Kyle pm'ed - he will try to make it but no guarantees due to work. Danny might be able to depending on his son's softball tournament....
So it may just be us. Darcy - bring the kids. My girlfriend that I stay with when I am in town may join us with her two girls (ages 11 and 7 I believe). I like both sets of ledges, but I think the one in Hinckley is usually less busy so we may have more of a chance of finding stuff? Thoughts, ideas, suggestions??
 
Hinckley works for me. Picnic style or eating out before/after? I got the day off, so I'll be there for whatever.

I am up for either. If we can get coolers together we could stop and get picnic type foods - or I think if we head down 303 towards the highway there are some restaurants too. I kinda think a picnic might be fun though.
 
Picnic sounds good to me too. I don't have a cooler, so I won't be much help there. What time are we thinking?
 
Well, I think my friend I am staying with and her kids want to go as well. The youngest is in some parade in Twinsburg that morning so I would imagine after that. Let me check with her what time she is free - but I would think maybe 12-100pm or so? If anyone wants to go earlier I can see if she just wants to meet up with us later.
 
Can we meet somewhere and ride over together...or would it be easier for us to all meet up at the ledges? I only ask because I'm pretty horrible with directions. Anybody wanna carpool from Findlay? :rolleyes:

I am fine with meeting up with people first if you want to do that. I am pretty sure there are restaurants and stuff off of I-71 at the route 303 exit.
You can get there off of I-77 as well - but I haven't gone that way before and am not sure if there is anything there right off the highway.

I imagine for you Josh - coming in off I-71 is going to be the most direct route. I am guessing for Hallie - I-77 will be closer. For Darcy - it could probably be either one.

It doesn't matter either way. I actually posted that before you pointed us to directions. I should be fine...

What are people doing for food? Are we packing lunches and eating somewhere along the hike?

I was thinking of bringing a cooler and eating either before or after we hike.

I am 99% sure the place I am thinking of for everyone to meet up is at the Top O the Ledges picnic area but I am going to try to get there a little ahead of everyone else to make sure.

I'll try to make it around 12:30. I'm not sure what we decided on as far as food, but I stopped and got a bag of Doritos, some macaroni salad, and a pepperoni and cheese tray this morning. I can bring some plates and forks too if you'd like me to.
