how do people well thanks for the warm welcome
i have a few questions then ill put a pic up oh and we dont do morphs here in the uk really all i was told is that he's a common corn snake.
this little guy keeps going in his water bowl for hours on end the other day he was in there for 7 hours till i moved him out cos he went pale and cold and today he done the same but i moved him out after 2 hours is this normal or could he be ill?
and how often do young snakes shed cos went i was at collage we had fully grown snakes and they did it twice a year but im sure young snakes do it like 3-4 dont they?

Him being in the water dish for that long of a time may be caused by
a) Mites. Wich if that is the case, has to be treated immediatley
b) You have the enclosure too hot and he is trying to find a place to cool down
Thats all I could think of at the moment. You should check for mites. And if you havent already, measure the tempurture of the cage with a digital thermometer (the stick on thermometers suck) And regulate the Under Tank Heater (UTH) with a thermostat or a rehostat.

hi thanks for the reply i've just checked him over with a magnifi glass and cant see anything like mites and the temp laying on the wood chip is 33 deg c and under them is 41deg c but he dont go under them he's in a 2ft x 1ft viv with mesh top and heat mat half the size of the viv with fake plants and vines to climb up (witch he does) but its just this water habit he's got
