Well i am not so new really but realised i hadn't posted in here, so here goes, my name is Marg, i live in the uk & have only had my snake for about 4 weeks now, i have never had one before, thats a shame really as i am really enjoying having him, just wish i had got one earlier. I have been on this forum for about 4 weeks & have found it to be a very friendly place to be & active.

Welcome, Marg. I know exactly what you mean - when I finally got my Yohsong I wished that I'd had her long ago. Maybe you can make up for it like I am - with more corns! lol

Welcome to the forum. I started late too. My parents never allowed and reptiles in the house. My husband is afraid of snakes. He opened the door when he said my daughter could have one. Now all the ladies in the house have snakes. We really enjoy them. This forum will keep busy learning new things every day. Look at FAQ, Loads of information. Most of all have fun.

I was afraid of snakes until I got my first one at age 45!
I now have 65 of them.. LOL

WOW thanks for all the replies, I am really enjoying this group, very helpful & friendly. I have never been frightened of snakes, a very long time ago, i mean back in the 1960's, I used to be a member of a tropical fish club, we all went to a fish show & while the fish were being judged there was another show going on for reptiles & he had snakes, the man came over & put a very large snake round my neck, i loved it, I also had a friend who had a 12ft Boa Constrictor, she used to stay very happily on my lap for a couple of hours, so you see i have always loved snakes, lizards, my daughter has got 6 lizards.
