Hilarious yet sad at the same time...

Well, you would *think* that this was a joke, but I'm not so sure...
(True story) a lady called into the non emergency line of out 911 Dispatch center in CO, & at one point asked "At what elevation do deer turn to elk?"

That has to be a purposeful joke...nobody can be that dense, I hope. Funny nonetheless.

That's what I thought.

On the other hand, apparently some herpers have had people ask them if frozen mice come back to life when thawed...
I've also had people ask me if 'they' bite whenever I'm holding a snake or tegu at Pet Supermarket, and when I ask them "Does your dog/cat bite?", they don't understand, at all.
:headbang:

I have gotten the "come back to life" question. And I also love the "Can it bite?" To which I say well yes...but so can I.
It's probably not real of course because I am sure they got a ton of emails and someone who was really confused would have been embarrassed and taken it down right away.
Very funny though!

OH and my mother's horses have been shot at before...mistake for a whitetail deer.

BIG DEER!
