Thanks. I'm not blaming poor Liliana - I think my substrate was too wet to start with. My fault, not hers. Since this is my first year for breeding, I can't guess whether or not she plans to lay more eggs. She recovered quickly from the first clutch, and her appetite is excellent. I didn't reintroduce the male, so any double-clutching is strictly the lady's idea. :wink: I'd love it if she does, but if she doesn't that's okay, too.
Boz, the male, is a 2YO. This is his first season to be tried, but 7 of these eggs looked perfect for quite a while. There are also 5 from Boz and a first-time female (Tulip) that continue to look perfect. I'm guessing that the eggs were/are fertile. I'm not giving up completely until they hatch or go flat and stinky.
