Thats a very pretty snake, a real find.
as for age I, personally start at 1 and progress , sorta, upwards, as a general rule it goes 2,3,4etc using the Arabic format of counting . ie.tens
:santa: Liqueur is a wonderful lubricant LOL :santa:

You can't tell at all. Snakes grow according to how much they are fed. So you can have yearlings that look like everyone else's two-year olds and two-year olds that look like everyone else's yearlings.

If you give some weight and length measurements, some here would give you some educated guesses.

That's a pretty nice RO for a pet store pick-up. Nice find!

Can I butt in since its the same topic? I have the same problem...I assumed I got a little bittie baby, cause I had never seen any others. But then someone else on LJ told me their baby was 12 gs. MINE is 30! She must be a big girl. She is probaby between a foot and a half and 2 feet in lenght but its so hard to tell. Ha.

yeah i think you may find it real difficult to work out age,

hey wippet download the serpentine widgets snake measurer

im sure if you type that into google or something you'll be able to find the program, then once you've downloaded it, its easy to measure your snake.

regards,
Tom

You stated you bought the snake last Oct/Nov, you could assume it was born last year, BUT that is not a clear indication either. It could have been a small yearling. As 'desertaimal' said size is not an indication of age I have two 2005 and two 2006 and there is no comparison in size. One of my 2005 I boutght Fed, 2006 but knew it was a little big for a 2006. This snake is a Creamsicle so a little bigger than usual for a corn/hybrid, but this year he did a huge growth spurt and now I'm thinking he may be an 2004. What I'm trying to say is if your RO sheds regularly, eats well, you might be able to compare it to other snakes from people who no the age, more to the point you will have to judge for yourself.

As others have said, once they become adult size, the only way to know their age is by knowing what year they were born in (or perhaps if it's a new morph maybe around when the morph showed up). But as for your snake, there's no way of knowing for sure. Sorry.

But, she is one great looking snake; a killer pet store find!
