How long did YOURS go without food?

Seems like an odd question to ask, but how long was the longest that YOUR snake survived without food?

I ask because my little ghost hatchling still hasn't left any evidence of his existance after being lost in my house for a week. :(

My striped snow male has gotten out once and gotten away from me a couple times (under the couch, behind the fridge, etc.) when I wasn't watching him closely.
The longest he went was two months with no food from me, and he was still fat and sassy! :D

How long was the longest your snake went without food? :wavey:

I'd figure from my experience as a child with loose snakes they aren't exactly going without food. We once lost a garter for 6 months and found it one cold morning curled up around the sugar jar a good foot longer and healthier than ever. I hope you find him soon, but I wouldn't worry about him starving- they are pretty resourceful.

4 and a half months past hatching.
Lampropeltis Mexicana - "We will break you!" attitude towards would be keepers who are trying to get them to eat is amusing at first but becomes spooky as time progresses.

Well during the Winter i could feed my hatchling for 2 weeks because i wasn't home. He is about 4 months. i do not know it it is still considered a hatchling or not

I just wanted to share ....

Our little "Snow" is BLUE!!! I am gonna try and get some pic's but the little red stripes on her back are purple!!! like eggplant purple ... it's cute :)

LOL! I didn't think anything of it! I was like "Oh sweet. A blue snake."

My adult male jungle (king x corn) went for over 3 months without taking a single meal from February through May of 2008. The entire time he refused his meals he spent roaming the outer limits of his 20L, searching (presumably) for a lady friend.

Men! ;)

i know its not a corn, but i have a ball python who refused all food for over 19 months!!!! hes only now started taking small rats again. hes perfectly healthy, just anorexic apparently.

My first cornsnake escaped when he was ~4 months old, and I didn't find him until 6 months later!! He was quite thin and looked dehydrated, so I'm guessing he didn't eat, or only ate a couple of times while he was MIA. But he survived and went on to live 12 years.

last year xerxes went 12 weeks without eating, this year he's on.....week six i think. i'm starting to think its gonna be a tradition lol :D

I had a hatchling escape in our basement. It resurfaced about 6 months later; hungry and dehydrated, but recovered fairly quickly.
