How many snakes ?

:roflmao: I used to always make up a number.. like 10 or so. It's just one of those questions I like to avoid answering when talking to "normies". I think that I was actually too embarrassed to know the real amount of snakes I had so I wouldn't have to answer honestly :shrugs:

The easiest way for me to keep track of how many I have is through iherp. I do have a few animals I havn't added to it yet, but for the most part, it's totally updated and makes it easy / undeniable! ;)

Anyway, I am proud to say I have 20 Corn Snakes! That is my limit though.. at least for this year. I really don't want to overwhelm myself.

I suppose there is a certain level of denial involved with not knowing exactly how many snakes you have. My husband thinks I have way too many and that they take up too much time and space. So, I am working on reducing the collection some and focusing on my very favorite projects; trying to make it more about keeping and producing my favorite morphs, rather than having so much variety. It's kind of hard, because there are SO MANY beautiful corn morphs available these days.

I looked into the iherp thing in the past, but I was not quite organized enough at the time to get established with it. I'm pretty good about getting all of mine registered with ACR and have pictures of all of them. Maybe I should revisit the iherp thing again and upload the pictures that I already have.

You all made me sit up and actually count mine, I have been thinning my collection out and still was surprised at the numbers I still have.:shrugs:
Thanks a bunch
John

John, I tried to total that up on my calculator and it just started to smoke. We might need to see that in scientific notation.

I have a total of 8 snakes. I have 3, year and a half old garter snakes, 2 are female albino checkereds and 1 male checkered garter. One of the females is gravid and I'm expecting some healthy little scrubs anytime now. I have a pair of 2 year old Okeetees, a pair of yearling Keys Miami PH Amel Cinder. I also recently picked up a young Anery corn.

Plus 1.2 at my house!!

Wishing my boyfriend, who just screamed his head off at me today about getting a 2nd corn, could see this thread. Lucky for me, we don't live together yet and rubbermaid storage containers placed strategically around the house don't draw attention to anyone that's just visiting for a day or two. :) I'd actually like to have 4 total: my current amel, a snow, an anery and a butter or butter motley. Work in progress...
