How much weight would a corn lose - Nanci -

halicorn

He hasn't feed in 23 days, this is my concern because as you can see he has dropped 20 grams in 10 days. I know Nanci said that it could a Spring thing but thats 20 grams in 10 days. Is that normal and how many people have experienced this?

Thanks in Advance

Another question, does he look like he may have some sunkissed in him look around 2 inches from head down.

20 grams in 10 days sounds like a big poop to me. I would not be concerned. I would start to be concerned in the 60-120 gram range after several months.

I agree with both of the above post. I wouldn't worry about 20g on an adult corn. Your snake has a good weight and looks healthy. My snakes do tend to save their poop until after they shed also. He is not sunkissed, he is an Amelanistic.

My adult Redrum lost about 20 grams during his lust food strike. He ate one adult most in 2 months and now is in shed LOL Poor guy!
