how old is my corn

are there any reliable ways to tell how old my corn may be. I got him from a pet store and they didnt know how old he is. He is about 2.5-3 feed and 166 grams.

I'd guess about a year or a year and a half. It depends a lot on how much he was being fed, but also just on individual growth rates. My yearlings weigh about that much and are about that long.

It depends on its date of birth. Once you know that it's a simple mathematical formula. I have found that that's the most accurate way to figure out how old something is.

Some people who have a raised a lot of babies and keep record of their growth. This snake is in the average yearling range.

However there are other factors that can make a snake smaller than it's age suggests it should be. If it wasn't fed very much it could make a snake grow much slower and so stay smaller. Also genetics. Some snakes are just plain bigger or smaller than average.

I have a three year old male who is just now starting to grow a bit. He looked like a yearling for long time. I fed him just as much as the others. But he was just a slow grower.
