Hurricane Gustav......

If it comes to South Texas, we are up a creek. Some parts of South Texas have had nearly 20" of rain in the last week and a half. Most of South Texas has had at least 5". Any more and there aint no where for it to go. There are farm fields that I have never seen standing water in and they have a foot of water in them right now.

I hope it doesn't hit Texas also!!!!

Oh my god, the flood keep rising, it's near to our house now.
The neighbor's house is on water right now, and one road broke down, so it's closed.
There's a helicopter hovering us, I think we are on news now.
Man, this is TERRIBLE!!!!
AHH!!, I went up close to the water on road, there was million of bugs everywhere, milli. centi. huge spiders, ants, worms, and such..
This is terrible!!
We are fighting against them!

If you don't hear from me after this, that means the transformer blew. because the power line is under the water by the river.
I will try my best to keep up with this.

You need to take your animals and GET OUT!!! RIGHT NOW!!! Put them in bags and walk if you have to.

We don't know whats going on right now.
There's firetruck and amblunce is here, at my neighbor..
The flood hasn't touched us yet, not even close.
The whole road is filled with them, ahh, this is terrible!

This made me laugh. Does that mean I have no heart?

I mean, there's a disaster outside your house, and you're here writing about it on a Corn Snake forum...

It sounds like they are evacuating people. When they come for you, they aren't going to be happy that you want to bring snakes. Better off to have them packed and ready to go in bags where no one can tell what they are, and maybe put the bags, or pillowcases, in a cooler. I thought you said it was ten feet from your house!

Sorry I was just going crazy, but not that close, but still rising..
They didn't evacated people yet, they just came to check it out.

Sorry it was on cornsnake forum, but it's on general-chit-chat.
We are staying until to see if it will be lowered in few hours.
It's crazy here. You might see flood on news around in Cabarrus County,
