We believed him to be a normal at first as we did all of the original 8 hatchlings, unfortunately he is only 1 of 2 that survived. The others were either non eaters or had kinks that caused problems. Sorry offtrack. He has almost a pinkish/redish haze on the gray and the yellow between his saddles is not done justice by my photos. It is pretty bright, and all of his markings are getting lighter and brighter with every shed. Since the dame is ph Hypo and the sire is Hets Unknown I am thinking maybe he is hypo. Any input would be appreciated.

I would try to get better photos but these are my parents snakes and they are not with me unfortunately my dad is always super busy working and my step mom is disabled so they don't have much time to use cornsnakes.com anymore. I told them I would try to help.

I think you are right Nanci. The more I look at him. But he is a pretty cool little normal. We decided that the 2 remaining from this clutch should not be breed in the future. But they will make nice pets. Don't want to pass on bad genes. Both clutches from OB produced by Sierra Herps were kink heavy and the first clutch was DIE heavy. He escaped but if he hadn't we would not breed him again either.

Well, it's tough to get a very clear visual of the snake from those photos to be quite honest. But it looks to be a nice sort of "Miami-ish" looking phenotype, and doesn't really "seem" to be a hypo from what I can barely make-out.

Nice parents too by the way!

Thanks Doug
The Caramel mom we have had since she hatched in 08. I was thinking she was possibly of Miami heritage with that grey background. The 04 Upper Keys dad we got in 08 as well and had a lot of unsuccessful breeding trials with. He unfortunately escaped in the fall.

Ya A few snap shots with my cell I took last minute unfortunately.

We are currently looking for a new boo for Smokee the 08 Caramel to breed to her next year. If any of you would happen to know of a male that would go nicely with her, I'd love to know.
