I have found, since I have started using sterilite boxes for snakes, that they maintain moisture much better than screen top tanks. They make shedding time easy. Its because a sterilite with holes has much less airflow than a screen top. The sterilites just lock in the humidity from a mist, even to the point of developing moldy apen if you over-mist. When a snake goes blue just one mist and those plastic boxes will hold that humidity for a clean shed. I just recently set up a nice 105qt sterilite for my brumating female. Its all clear so it looks nice and I got it locked down with heavy duty office clips.
