Things were looking great in terms of healthy eggs and a decent number. I had 16 viable eggs between the two females. One always lays a few huge ones, and the other lays normal sized eggs in greater quantity. No idea why that would be with them getting the exact same care, feeding, etc.. But the eggs from both girls were laid on the same exact day and started hatching on Wednesday evening. When I checked yesterday morning I wanted to cry. 11 out, and all normal. Was this not a simple recessive gene? Was the wc female the original male bred to already fertilized by a wild male? I was trying to find any way to explain this. I have hatched so many eggs now and not one white baby black snake.
