I finally have taken pics of Inara - Female Abbott's Okeetee from Catherine (Jynx). I think she's AWESOME and I hope the pics I took of her shows that. LOL.

Let's start with Inara. She was an EXCELLENT subject. So excellent that she simply FROZE whenever I put her somewhere... which made for MANY fewer blurry shots. LOL.
The only way I can differentiate her from Mal right now is the SPOT on her head.

See how she's just "frozen" there? LOL. LOVE her reddish underside around her tail.

And her pretty B&W belly from her middle to her head.

Her borders also tend to be thicker than Mal's.

MORE PICS COMING!!!! I took a ton of her!!! LOL.

She's very beautiful! I just love the thick black borders on the saddles. I hope to have an Abbott's as pretty as her someday! :D

At least she's steering me in the right direction!!! LOL!

Well, that's it! Hope you liked seeing Inara. Keep an eye open for Mal's pics too! He's her future mate!

Thanks for looking!

Thank you!!! But you've only seen half the pics! Be sure to see the other pics I took today too....

... as well as her other half - MAL.

They're beautiful! I also love the names. I have two ferrets named Malcolm and Zoey. :D

Thanks, but I can't claim to have come up with their beautiful names... Catherine did... and the names just "fit". LOL.

Thanks for the kind comments!

BTW, I'd LOVE to see pics of your ferrets on the Chit-Chat part of the forum! :)

Fred, she's beautiful! I really love those last 3 pictures in your 2nd post. I like the backdrop of the clouds on her. It looks peaceful and beautiful. :)
And I especially love her belly checkers. :D I'm a sucker for snake bellies. LOL

Thanks, Suzy!!! I love the belly checkers too! I'm so glad to have them.

Oh, I just finished Mal's thread... so be sure to check him out too!

Once I get more pictures of them I'll post the furry devils ... erm ... angels in Chit Chat. Until then I have one or two pics in an album on my profile.

Oh, I know of the series (never watched it) and the movie (LOVED IT!)... and I'm glad to know that my "Mal" shares a namesake with your "Mal".

I'll check out your album, but will also look for a "Ferret" thread too!

haha, I edited that part out of my post when I realized from your other thread you new the series. sorry ^_^;

Yes, I will make a ferret thread.. I might do it now.. I have no camera for new pics, but I have some older ones hiding around here somewhere.

Gorgeous snake Fred! Her head marking looks like the mark of Buddha or something. What a nice looking Okeetee with amazing borders, thanks for sharing.

Ohh! I hope Scarlett grows up to be this gorgeous! I love her underside!
Thanks, Katie! I'm sure Scarlett will be just as beautiful! :) You know, having so many morphs that have NO belly markings (or reduced) seeing the "original" markings is quite... "satisfying". LOL!

Thank you, Michael! I'm sure glad that she even HAS that particular head mark... otherwise, I would have a difficult time differentiating the two. LOL.

She's so beautiful! Okeetees look like jungle cats to me. I love looking at the landscape there, in the background. So different.

Thanks, Nanci! In the world of "many morphs" these "special" normals certainly do look WILD, don't they? :)

As for the scenery... I'm not a great picture taker, but do you think ya'll would like to see some of what's around me? We've got Saguaro cacti everywhere. The desert is beautiful... HARSHLY beautiful. :)

Fred you took some really great shots! And she is a lovely girl!! Lucky man. :D
Thanks, my friend! I certainly appreciate having her... and this forum to share her with!

I'd love to see what's around where you live, Fred! I love deserts, I just don't want to live in one.
