Interesting video.......

I thought the term was "Munsonized". Oh well. :grin01:

Dale

No, "Munsonized" is used to indicate that an article of non-machine-washable clothing has been subjected to my patented dry-cleaning process. ;)

Rich has been "Zuchowskinating" for many years longer than I've been his associate...

Dale, I was taking a quick look at the 538.com website and the impression that I got is that they are somewhat bias toward Obama. Do you get this impression at all? (The numbers are encouraging though :D)

Yes, I do. Matter of fact, Newsweek did a piece on Nate Silver back in June, wherein he admits he's pulling for Obama.

However, I've yet to see him be biased in the analysis of the data he collects. Matter of fact, just in today's (10/18/08) article on the site, he correctly states McCain's recent (albeit small) improvement in the polls.

Sadly, everyone, this process took sixty-one minutes to complete, and Adam Smith's invisible hand bitch-slapped Dean into obscurity.....well, except to all of us corny-snakey folk.

Kind of like the TV pilot I pitched about two years ago - "Dale Or No Dale".

:roflmao: Yeah, it's reminiscent of another failed venture:

HITCHHIKER
A salesman--that's what I am. I mean, I'm
gonna be anyway. I'm starting my own
company--video sales--just as soon as I get
enough seed money.

TED
'That right? Good for you.

HITCHHIKER
Yeah, you wouldn't believe my idea--it's a
home run. You ever hear of Eight-Minute
Abs?

TED
The exercise tape? Sure, I've seen it on
T.V.

HITCHHIKER
Two million copies it sold last year. Two
million, man. But not next year--my idea's
gonna blow them outta the water. Get this:
(dramatic pause)
Seven-Minute Abs.

And then there was my own failed TV pilot: "I Dream of Deanie." Test audiences were repelled by my midriff-baring, pink chiffon, djinn costume. They were playah-hatas...

I don't understand why that didn't work....it certainly helped out this guy!

I've had about enough of your, fella(s). Go play somewhere else until after the election when your brain catches up with your bravado. I'm just damned tired of hearing you tell us how you are so much more superior then the rest of the human race. :toiletgra
Rich, How are we supposed to carry on this debate now?
The superior, artistic, worldly, intellectual, been-there-done-that wondertwins trio is missing...:sobstory:
hmmm...I wonder if we should just talk about cornsnakes of something...:licklips:
Your political website :)-poke:)here has lost some of it's flavor...:crazy01:heh, heh

I almost feel that this is off topic in a way, though it actually goes back to the original video Rich posted..
It's from the NPR affiliated show 'This American Life'.. A very humorous, sad, and amazingly understandable explaination of what the heck happened to our economy. I just love this show, and this is a great episode. Surprisingly enjoyable to hear considering it's topic..

Anyone who's interested, follow the link and then click on #355 The Giant Pool of Money. Free to listen to! Just click on the 'full episode' link.

(Also for those on the other side from me, this piece hasn't a single political bone to pick.. Doesn't mention Bush Clinton, or even a party name as far as I can recall..)

Aaaah! I know where I've heard of him now.. He's the basketball stats guy that crossed over to politics. I saw him on the Daily Show. Seems like a very clever dude.

Baseball, actually. He's the guy who developed the PECOTA model.

It's nice to finally see an economics major provide something of value to the world. ;)

I suspect we will survive. But something tells me that when the 30 day ban is over with, a man (or men) that is extremely bitter or a man (or men) who will be insufferably smug, will be rejoining us.

And what about those of us who are insufferably smug AND bitter? :grin01:

No intention of trolling or stirring a turd here, but what's everyone's opinion of Colin Powell's endorsement of Senator Obama this morning on "Meet The Press" ??

I saw that McCain tried to downplay it by citing his many endorsements. Somehow I don't think they are the same thing. For Colin Powell to endorse the dem I've got to think there is something seriously wrong in the rep party.
