Mice! They taste so nice!
Incredible. The man is a total dyed in the wool bigot.
Excellent point, and I agree!TBH.... This is a good thing and it's good that it has come about.....
Why you ask..
Because racism is still about, yet lots of people bury their heads and pretend that it no longer exists.....
Well it does and it's making the news....
Try and ignore that if you can....
America may be the land of the free, but not if your an ethnic/homosexual it seems....
About 45 miles from here
IN TangipaHOa parish
This actually creates all kinds of legal headaches for us. If you don't live in a state that will recognize the license (most of us don't), then it doesn't do you any good. And in terms of filing taxes and other monetary legalities, it can potentially do you harm.
That's always an option. For some reason, the North East seems to be more accepting than other areas of the country. (For the most part)
Also, we have maple syrup!
Oh, and not to nitpick, but you CAN be a separatist without being a racist. The one does not dictate the other, although you CAN be a racist and not be a separatist and vice versa.
Oh, I know. I totally agree that gay marriage should be legal in every state.
So by seperatist, you mean "a person who does not believe in interracial marriages"? Or a sexual union that produces children of mixed races?
Not what I mean...........I only refer to the definitions of the words that most people seem to ignore for convenience or through ignorance. I just wish people would use the words correctly instead of twisting the definitions around incorrectly.
That's all. Denotations NOT connotations or personal "meanings."
The laws passed should not say "same sex marriages are ok" - it should say, "we have no right to regulate who marries who - period!"
KJ, I was wondering how long it would take you to get here. LOL.LOL.....it's just across the interstate from where I live, and I am there a couple times a week (including driving threw it daily). Hammond isn't a bad area at all. Nowhere has zero bad apples living there.
There is a LOT of good things about "Tangi" parish to make up for her. Is there something wrong with a women being easy (and really, really weird....lol) just because it isn't "normal" to the larger segments of society?:dancer:
Besides, Kentwood is a BEAUTIFUL place.
TBH.... This is a good thing and it's good that it has come about.....

There is nothing right about what this guy thinks, but at least he came right out and said it. There are many, many people who still have inner prejudice against the very same thing, but they'll never be publicly targeted by the media simply because they do so from behind closed doors. No one was physically hurt by this act of racism, and it causes the discussion to at least be talked about again rather than be left under the rug, so I also feel that it is a good thing that this came out.
The laws passed should not say "same sex marriages are ok" - it should say, "we have no right to regulate who marries who - period!"
That's my belief.
(please don't tell anyone I agreed with KJ)
I don't think that was the point, nor was it said that this was limited to the U.S. I think it was just to reflect on our own downfalls, that we are not necessarily the land of the free that we would like to be, so long as any group of people are denied any form of equal rights.Hold on, now... I agree that this is a HORRIBLE thing... BUT, Racism/sexism/homophobia are NOT limited to the United States.
I have Macedonian friends who are the brunt of racism in Europe. They've told me tales of how Macedonians are treated like second class citizens in Greece, Turkey, and even Italy.
Don't forget that there actual "extermination" and "purification" existed just a VERY short time ago in Europe. Shall we say, "Slobodan Milosevic"? That's just recent history. So, Michael and Mike, be careful to not only denigrate the US in your posts. This kind of stuff is everywhere... NOT RIGHT, but still everywhere.
