Introducing Pepper: Avalanche Stripe

Nanci

Alien Lover
I saw Pepper's For Sale pic, and I just couldn't resist. He's so beautiful and pink and pepperminty! Like the ice cream!

Are boys just nicer than girls? He only bit me once! All these little guys were striking so violently you could hear a big hiss!

Pepper finally relaxed a little bit:

Here's a shot of him in sunlight on the way to his viv:

And safely put away.

Meet the future Mrs. Pepper, Ruby, in the next thread!

Thanks for looking!

You finally got him, huh? I'll bet you sat on the curb all morning until Fed-ex showed up. He was well worth the wait, he is very good looking.:dancer:

Thanks you guys! Pepper is my first quad homo!

Fed Ex took FOREVER to get here! I think he finally pulled in at 11:38. To be exact. I go running out there- "my babies, my babies!" The driver (obviously still traumatized by Bacon's arrival) says "What's in there, snakes? You take them!" But proceeded to ask a million questions about what kind, how big they got, how many did I have, were any "poisonous," etc.

It sure took a long time to get these guys shipped! The weather where Joe lives is freezing. We watched it for about three weeks, waiting for the perfect day. Perfect for Joe is a little cooler than perfect for Nanci! But he held the babies till I was comfortable with the temps. The inside of the box was a toasty 75F, with a nice warm heat pack. This is the first batch, I think, that have been in styrofoam peanuts rather than shredded newspaper- I bet that really helps keep them insulated.

I forgot to say, Pepper is 11 grams. But Ruby just seems bigger!! My scale has been acting up- saying it has low batteries when the batteries are new...I hate to have to buy another one.

Jasper: 14 grams Finally gained a gram! (hypoblood from Carol)
Lily: 14 grams. Jasper's restricted diet let her catch up. (lavblood from Rich Z)
Pepper: 11 grams
Ruby: 10 grams
Jasmine: 9 grams, up from 7 (bloodred from Carol)
Calli: 6 grams Might be eating pinky parts for a while!

Sunday is the next baby feeding day- if these new kids are out and about and relaxed, they'll get their first meals then! THEN I can relax!

Wow so much beautiful stripeds you got Nanci.
This one and the Bloodred are great.
But little Calli is still the best :)

Oh wow, he's STUNNING too! You definitely got some beautiful babies there!

Again, looking forward to more pics once they've all settled in!
